Das WortQaḍaa' bedeutet, dass alles was geschieht durch die Bestimmung Allah geschieht, während das Wort Qadr alles was geschieht oder geschehen wird, Allah in einem Moment ohne Zeit weiß. Beides gehört zum Glauben (Imaan) und ist Voraussetzung um Muslim zu sein.
Ali (r.a.) soll gefragt worden sein: "Wie ist das zu verstehen mit der Vorbestimmung und dem freien Willen?" Darauf soll er den Fragenden geantwortet haben: "Stell dich auf ein Bein und dann gehe."
Qazi Abu Bakr Muhammad bin Abdul Baqi Ansari is an illustrious personality of Islamic History. He was the most pious person of his time.
